Habitat East Bay/Silicon Valley’s Home Repair Program preserves affordable homeownership and revives neighborhoods. Volunteers and skilled construction staff make repairs to alleviate health and safety issues and improve the quality of a homeowner’s life. Habitat’s Home Repair program enables a homeowner to stay in their home and revitalizes their neighborhood by preserving the home’s integrity. By participating in repairs through “sweat equity” volunteer hours, homeowners improve their homes with pride and be empowered to maintain their home long after repairs are completed.

In order to qualify for our home repair services, homeowners must:
•    Own and occupy a home in Alameda, Contra Costa, or Santa Clara County
•    Have a household income below 80% of Area Median Income
